does it matter which type of 2 stroke i use, like for instance the cheap ones you get at the garage or the better one you buy from the bike shops? _________________ Just Bought MC16.
The racebike gets XR77 which is silly money (£13+ a litre) even with forum members discount from Race Lubricants but it does so few miles it's irrelevent.
The road bike gets Hein Gericke fully synthetic race oil, it's as high a grade as you can buy, is fine for either premix or the pump and is £6.39 a litre, it's allegedly Motul 710 in a cheap bottle.

Comp 2 injector plus in mine, it aint cheap but used it in my aprilia rs50 and took it to cornwall and back in one weekend with no probs. It must be good stuff for that little motor to last 7 full hours of riding in each direction on all the A and B roads.
