Want to reset my power valves but when I switch the bike on the servo motor does not cycle. I have tried with the TPS plugged in and out. Also manually moved the servo from high to low and checked that the cables have some slack and that the PVs move freely.
How do I determine if it is the servo motor or PGM that has gone.
Yes it is set to run, but I must be honest, I must check that the kill switch has a solid connection. I did disconnect it while putting the harness/loom back on the bike(complete rebuild)
You can connect 12v directly to the servo, but I can't recall which connection. Try a search as it has been discussed before. _________________ MC21SP Plaything

Some kind of safety device built into the steering lock.
Before I went through the effort of checking the harness I thought it best to put back all the road stuff and see if it sorted out the problem. Sure enough, when I plugged the steering lock in everything started to work again.
Bridged that connection and it is working.
Ah. So it wasn't just the RC valve not working then? _________________ MC21SP Plaything
