Performance Bikes are looking for an MC28 for an article in their mag! can anyone here help? they are located in Peterborough, I guess the nearer the better.
Will PB ever 'get with the plan' and test a derestricted MC21? Or MC18 for that matter. No doubt they will have a Standard / Restricted MC28 up against a Full power RGV 250 or Aprillia RS 250, or any other 55 BHP (ish) 250. _________________ Rich

Funny how when PB were offered rides on something other than a '28 (my '21 and Steve's F3) they declined.
I imagine they are looking for a nice 40hp 3XV to test too, just to "prove" how great the RGV they've been banging on about since 1987 is! _________________ Andy.

Get Steve to stick a 28 swinging arm on his F3 and offer them that _________________ Harley Davidson is the worlds most efficient way to turn petrol into noise without the harmful side effect of horsepower.

Either they must be crazy for turning that offer down, or they just will never run any NSR test which shows better performance than an RGV. _________________ Rich

Haha, both my NSRs go very well thanks (and I dont have to strip them down every 200 miles just to keep them running ).
Maybe someone should find out exactly what they want, then we can all turn up on mass and let them try all sorts in one go.....would make a great feature...for us anyway and you lot can finally get an old MC21 in a magazine!
I doubt either of mine are suitable as neither look anything like they did when they left the factory.
I'm sure it would go for alot longer than 200 miles if I wanted it too
As I recall fron riding your '28's one was in a state of disrepair and the other even when running felt like it wasn't _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...

I was thinking the same thing , find out where and when the test is and just show up!
When I say under powered Rich thats in comparison to a lot of the bikes on here (a nice safe 59 bhp) but still a healthy power output for a 250.
