rc motor not going to hi to adjust valves

hi , i`m about to get my mc18 rego done i tried to adjust power valves but when i disconnect t.p.s and turn on key it doesn`t go to hi can someone tell me why this may be Thanks

hi . i`ve been trieing to sort out power valves ok when i turn key on the rc motor doesn`t cycle if i turn the key of manually turn rc motor then turn key on it goes back to lo . when the bike is running in nuetral runs fine revs fine but the power valves don`t move any ideas ? would it be the cdi

As Steve says... lots and lots of posts on this.

The RC Valve doesn't cycle like a YPVS. An RC Valve does (or at least should) return to Lo if you move the pulley by hand and then turn the ignition on.

It's important to follow the correct procedure as outlined on the main site and in various other threads.

Thanks Andy , i`ve been serching to find a answer to prob but havn`t had much luck, But i thought i`d take the bike for a run as it hasn`t been riden in a while (even nowing got no no.plates) I got back and with bike in neutral a few revs and valves are moving so maybe it fixed itself but will have another go at adjusting valves,
