NSR-WORLD carbon fibre replica HRC airboxes...

Thu Apr 23, 2009 9:07 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

For those who are interested... MC21/28 HRC replica carbon airbox! Smile

Price is £85 blank, or £95 cut. Boxes will be supplied with all the holes marked out, so you won't have to guess! Very Happy

Ti Members only for the first batch. Special price for Ti Members is £75 blank (£85 cut).

P&P within the UK will be £5, international shipping will be about £12 via International Signed-for Airmail. First batch should be ready to ship in a couple of weeks. More details of that to follow though.

More carbon to come too. (Don't get too excited Si!Wink)

Can you cut them to fit RS carbs? Or do we need to guess ourselves?

The boots for the RS carbs are actually very similar in size to the standard ones. The genuine HRC shield gives enough to fit without modification, but due to the nature of carbon fibre the standard holes may need to be enlarged slightly to make fitment a little easier. This is something you'd need to do yourself though. Maxim got one of our GRP ones to fit PJ/PWK's easily enough.

I would recommend trimming yourself for PJ/PWK though, as the holes for the standard carbs aren't all really necessary for those carbs, plus you may want holes elsewhere for different adjuster screws etc. You could end up with more holes than carbon! Laughing

Just be careful you don't get too excited... both you and StephenRC45 are well aware of the consequences of over-excitement!! Very Happy
