hi i have searced this and found two answers, if you turn air screw clock wise does it richen or lean the mixture, i thorght it richened it up,but im not sure two different posts say two different things _________________ NSR250 MC18

Its an AIR screw. turning it anti clock wise pulls the screw out allowing more air to pass though the now less blocked passage, leaning the mixture out. _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...

For one there is no O ring on the air screw on an NSR so it would piss fuel out if it did have fuel behind it and the intake for the Air screw is open to, you guessed it, air. I dont see any fuel pissing out of that hole either. _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...

i cant belive there's such a hoo harr about carb air screws!!! ITS & AIR SCREW !!! clock wise less air more fuel anti clock wise more air less fuel !!! after owning over 20 of the dam things & racing them for over ten years i should know & yes i am old !!!
