NSR's in Australia

Sat May 09, 2009 6:10 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

I was just wondering how many of you out there behind those IP's are Australian. I ride a *cough* Aprilia RS250, sorry *cough* and never seem to run into any NSR's when I go for a ride. I don't even remember ever seeing one in the flesh.

I would love one of those MC18's though. Very Happy

Oh and hello.

There must be some in Brisbane.
I get all my parts from ****** Performance and they are based in ******.
Maybe they are all in garages having rebuilds, like mine Laughing

The RSA is a completely different bike to what I have though man. The street RS ran a slightly modified RGV250 VJ22 engine.

There are a few around Melbourne, although I have only met a couple personally so far. DiviCe, was that you selling the white '21 a couple of months ago? Just bought another one, so now my partner and I have one each (although she has the SP Sad ).

we should go for a ride with the nsr's around melbourne. any melbourne/vic nsr riders out there?

Sure, when the sun starts shining again.......

Getting back to the original post, since the importers were either Melbourne or Brisbane based, it seems logical that these two places would have the greatest concentration of NSR's. I only ever saw one or two when I was in Sydney.

There must be heaps in sydney there always seems to be one for sale there .I Think it would be a great thing if all us ozzy NSR riders went down to Phillip Island for a ride day.

I have a feeling that Mick wouldn't be particularly interested. Brilliant rider sure, but not the most personable bloke to ever throw on a helmet if you see what I mean.

I'm keeping an eye out for a clean mc18 or 21 up here in Brisbane. I'm thinking about selling the YZF-SP and putting an NSR in its place.

Also, BitBurger is **** evil. Someone turn off that bastard sun.

Oh very cool. I'm glad to be proved wrong!

I remember watching Mick at Eastern Creek in '96 as an 8 year old. Awesome.

Just a shame I didn't have my Repsol MC21 there at the time. A photo of him sat on that would be the icing on the cake for me.

Yeah it was me selling the white nsr a few months ago, this is my 3rd nsr - last 2 was a 21's. Today was a nice day. We should get a few nsr's around melbourne to go for a ride somewhere.
