Ive asked this question before, and the answer i got was :-
If you want a drag bike, but a Hayabusa. If you want to go round corners, buy an NSR.
And that was it.
Im going to run mine at Willowbank after i get it painted and looking pretty, which will be middle of winter, so best HP producing weather.
Im hoping for something in the very low 13s @ 110mph.

A 13s pass would be nice, Willowbank is my local track too, i'm giving my bike a tidy up at the moment and also hope to run it this winter, might see you there.

There was anotherr thread on this recently which I replied in.

Doing the local 1/4 herein 2 weeks. we have an s bend in our 1/4 though to make it more interesting.

Expecting late 14 as I am fat.

Local Honda dealer and all round legend rider got a 12.8 on an MC18 back in the day.

If you want to know how quick a 250 can go the all out record here for a bike is 10.54 and that was a tuned ZX10. The 250 record is 10.92, a fully prepped TZ250 with a top local club racer on it.

Im only doing it so i can go a ton without getting done.

Ice creams are my problem too, in fact all food and beer.

Should be fun though, will post my rubbish times when I'm done.

That's reminded me to check what gearing is on my bike.

What gearing you running MC-mc28?

on a dead stock mc16 my best run was 14.99 @ 87mph Embarassed
I ran 3 passes that night and just couldn't launch it very well with the stock tall gearing......and yes I know these were not made for drag racing. I really thought I could have run a little closer to my kx500 supermoto that was in the low 13's. With gearing work, jetting and a good launch I think high 13's would be possible.
