Hi Mate
This has been covered before do a search. You can get bearings ,get them mached up at a bearing traider or there is a bloke on here cant remember who that gets them in greece.
Yeh have been in touch with Micheal in Greece and he is fairly sure the R5/6 cranks bearings are the same as the MC21 but not 100%
Have done many searches actually, and this particular issue seems untouched unless I missed something
Be good to know exactly what the differences are between the R5/6 MC18 crank and the MC21
Below is the right side outer bearing off the R5 and the crank without the outer bearings

I am pretty sure Geezagillard that the R5/6 uses two 83B569AA and one 83B569DA or the opposite, one 83B569AA and two 83B569DA... Unfortunately I don't remember... I sold before one year ago to a guy that wanted to rebuild his MC18 crank but I can't remember which bearings I sold to him...
don't know if this is of any help but i've got a twenty one crank fitted in my r5k , only thing that was done to the crank to make it fit was to machine 2mm from the counter weights.
does anyone know if you cant fit the centre bearing oring without splitting the crank...ie does it have enough elasticity to fit over the web and conrod?

Ok Geezagillard... I will call my local Koyo dealer today to find out if this bearing exists in their stock and I will reply as soon I can... Does the code stops there on the bearing or has some more letters or numbers...?
My local dealer just called me and told me that Koyo doesn't produce any bearing with the code 83B569A... The only bearing that is produced right now is the one with the code 83B569AA... Also told me that the most likely scenario is that the 83B569A bearing probably has been replaced with the 83B569AA bearing...
Geezagillard can you measure the 83B569A bearing...? Inner dimension, outer and width... Just to compare them to see if this thing that my Koyo dealer said stands... Most likely it is true but it's better to be careful..
