you gotta look in 'waterpump/thermostat' section in the manual mate!
where are you getting your genuine Honda parts from by the way?
The places i've asked for prices in NZ all want roughly double what i'd pay in the mother land. The Honda dealer in Palmy wanted $137 for a turn signal relay box thing for a Fireblade! I need to know where the good prices in NZ are. _________________ After years of moaning about immigrants now i am one...
It is there, and they're still available, I ordered one a couple of months back. _________________ MC21SP Plaything

Have you looked up the part numbers for them both to see if they're the same? _________________ MC21SP Plaything

This is what im saying - the prices take the piss! Its the same with musical instruments; the NZ wholesaler sets the prices and knackers it up for us. For example, Ibanez guitars cost (funnily enough) DOUBLE the RRP in England. They tell me its because they have no bulk buying power due to NZ's tiny population, but what's the point stocking anything at all if no-one here makes enough money to be able to afford them? Blue wing Honda are the official NZ wholesalers for Honda - someone needs to make an effort to give them some competition and put them out of business. We need Richard Branson to wade in and start shaking things up!
I've found 'Econohonda', based in Te Aroha; way up north. They have alot of stock including alot of used spares so they might be able to do some better prices, but i'll never know... I emailed them about a week ago, got an email back that confirmed they had received it but nothing else since. USELESS c**ts. I aint chasin after them with a phone call either. I'll just get my parts shipped over from Tyga who are all about customer service and will keep getting repeat business from me because of it.
I only tried the NZ suppliers first because i wanted to 'buy Kiwi' and keep the money in the country like the TV keeps telling me to. But unfortunately for New Zealand im not going to put up with poor service and rip off prices. _________________ After years of moaning about immigrants now i am one...

19300-KV3-701 is the correct part number for the thermostat.
37750-PC1-004 is the temperature sender for an mc21.
37750-KV3-951 is the same part for an mc28.
The thermostat is priced at 2100 yen in the original parts manual.
So that makes it around $33NZ in 1993.... _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
