P'Valve assembly.

Fri Sep 11, 2009 7:30 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Just got a question on the valve assembly. Is the valve rod supposed to fit snug into the powevalve butterfly?

I can turn the valve around a bit, which makes me think its likely the valves aren't closing and opening properly.

Seems the rectangular hole in the powervalve butterfly has been widened somehow, and no longer actuates imediatly. Maybe time to replace it perhaps.

they should be a snug fit and have no play on the rod.

I would suggest getting new rods and valves.

Just had a closer look, exhaust off etc. Its seems i can turn the valve from open to close without the pully interacting. Looks like the valves just sit there, until blown some place else Rolling Eyes

Mostly wear on the butterfly, a lil bit on the rod too. Just a few mm worn off both parts and theres practically no valve movent from the servo..

Hope im in for a nice surprise when i fix this up Cool
