Blast Enkei's

Mon Sep 21, 2009 6:56 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Has anyone had there enkeis blasted, just want to know if they are prone to chipping.. My coater has told me after the wheels come out of the mould, and before being wet sprayed, any holes are bogged/filled. (myself doesnt think this would occur at honda) Therefore blasting may rupture the bog making the coat look less than desireable.

Confused

All the alloy and Magtek wheels were made by Enkei Dave.

Up untill around '92 when some of the HRC stuff was made else where.

Ah,I thought he was trying to use some foreign word for engine-case! (go on, say it out loud with a Chinese accent)

Laughing

I had a set of Enkei's bead blasted and powder coated in satin black recently, and they look spot on... except I don't like satin black now! Anyone wants to swap them for some equally nice white ones and I'll be happy to exchange.

New bearings, new alloy spacer kits front & rear, new lifetime 90 degree valves! Wink
