Crankcase Bolt(MC21)

Not sure what goes on the large bolt directly behind the countershaft sprocket is it a needle bearing item 17 in the parts manual 91101-121-691 exploded view E-16 ?

I beleive you are talking about the engine adjustment bracket and where it bolts into.

See page J13 of the MC21 parts manual, part #9/30/37.

Thats it thanks Charles,I dont seem to have the pieces just the bolt,I assume this bracket bolts to the frame to ajust engine position.is it nessasary that I have these pieces if so can I get them at TYGA?

It's used to align the engine with the swing arm to bring the countershaft sprocket in alignment with the rear wheel sprocket. So it's kind of important. I am sure TYGA could source the part...

fwiw I just had to source the alighnment bracket. The first group I tried came back to tell me it has been discontinued by Honda. Tyga's website lists it as 'contact us for avaliability'. I ended up getting one from a wrecker.

The previous owner had run the 21 without the bush for the engine bolt so the alighnment bracket on the bike was shagged Rolling Eyes

I am thinking I can fabricate something to do the same job,does the other end of the support attach to the lower engine mounting bolt?mabee someone could measure the distance between mounting holes and post it.Or a picture would help.I am sure other people need this.Thanks for the feedback.
