I've finally sourced some average MC18 2J mirrors

I was also trying to work out what was wrong with the new R/H mirror that I bought from David Silver's. Then I realised it had a L/H arm and a R/H head Sad

The old mirrors are in very good condition but the arms angled down, as they aren't for a 2J.

I'll be selling them, but want to mark I know what bike they're for

21 and 28 basically share the same mirror, and those look like them.

Is there a part# on them?

They look like aftermarket to me. I may be wrong on that, as I don't know fully about the 400's (how would I?!), but ALL the later NSR's had the thicker stalk*, not the sculpted one as in your second picture.

*Not MC16.

Andy is right, they're dodgy Hong Kong copies of RVF400 mirrors, ebay is rammed with them (item 350294834819 for example).

They look the part but are VERY brittle and the plastic fades to not very black in the sun.

You could be right, but I recon they've been on my NSR for over 5 years.
They haven't cracked or faded, maybe my bikes spent too much time in the garage Wink

Maybe some are different to others then, like the chinese bodywork, I've seen some that was quite good and I've seen others that were dire.
