I'm sitting on an oilrig far away from my NSR and am trying to decide whether to change my TYGA alu silencers with some carbon, but would like to know the diffrence in weight.
The carbon ones are 540grams (19.0479395 ounces ) _________________ Poul

Im not sure what others think but the alu tygas are the best choice- the carbon and carbon/kevlar tygas ALWAYS shake loose within a few hundred miles - they requre constant re-riveting - the alu tygas are solid aluminium at the base so no rivets - i say stick with the alu tygas!
Pretty sure mine alloy mufflers weighed 700 odd grams when i bought them.
I shortened mine by about 70mm.
And i got them to fit on the factory honda flange. Just had to cut the spigot section down a little and linish it a fraction, and slot the mount holes inwards. The spigot seals on the oring nice and tight. _________________ Winning isn't everything, but loosing isn't anything
I just made my order with TYGA last week and decided to get the aluminium cans, so it's good to hear I made the right choice. And at about a quarter of the cost of carbon cans I think it was well worth it!
