That was a wicked race I was chuffed for haydon, well that was until he decided to throw the thing down the road, but as he's a rather fine looking man i will forgive him!!!!
I was absolutely screaming at the t.v. on the last few laps i'm still suffering from the effects now. What can i say about Rossi apart from he's the Dogs danglies(sure i've spelt that wrong) I think Rossi was hard but fair and Sete in my opinion should have just tried to cut back across or drop behind.
I thought there may have been a bit of a ruck after but instead Sete went for the old staring out method,my he was frightenening!!!!! Looking forward to the rest of the championship oh yeah and more of Nicky Haydon, well you guys have brolly dollys after all
Oh dear, the might of Honda being beaten again by some firm which has a musical instrument tool as its logo..., they'll be being beaten by Kawasaki oil rigs next _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
Well I'm sorry guys and gals but as Sete pointed out as he crossed the line... Rossi is indeed a w@n£er...
Like last year he can only seem to get through by using a Kenny Jr style block pass, boringly pushing the poor sod he's just done it to wide.
If Sete had fallen, what exactly would have been different about Rossi's move and the one which landed Capirossi in whole load of crap when he duffed up Harada in the last few corners in the 250's. He did the same to Hayden mid race too.
Good on Rossi for being the only guy that ride's at 100% at every race and every corner, but in doing so he seems to over ride, shown by him losing the front and going wide 3 times on the last lap, to get the Yam across the line first. _________________ NSR300R - Why did i ever have a 250...

i agree totally, had a good chat with fontyyy yesterday after the race, and what maxim is saying is true, i beleive capirossi actually got disqualified for it!
you can bet rossi wont, dont get me wrong the last person i want to see win it is arrogant tosser swete gibberish but it was a dodgy manouvre his foot was down as he went into the corner so he knew exactly what he was doing.
made for quality viewing though _________________ MC21SP - Roth-tax

sour grapes boys. if it had been the other way round it would have been a racing incident. as randy said if rossi had come from a mile back to make that move ( as capirossi did on harada) then you could have called it foul. 90% of the MOTO GP riders would of had a go at that move. and 100% of 125 riders.
i do think rossi was a bit to full of himself after the race, and all this i hate him stuff is a bit sad.
roll on the next one
its not sour grapes i want rossi to win....but it was a dodgy move there is no doubt about it _________________ MC21SP - Roth-tax

Shane Byrne said it all for me really in his interview with randy after the race... Firstly that the move was pretty far from fair, and secondly, if it was a legit move, he wouldn't have been going into the corner with his left foot dragging on the floor, then running about 20 miles wide on the apex. And that's coming from another GP rider...
I wonder if he'll be allowed back into Spain for the next race! _________________ NSR300R - Why did i ever have a 250...
It's interesting to see people either side with Rossi or Gibernau,I don't think there was much in it really but Rossi did have the inside line and yeah he did run wide and put his foot out but what else should he have done, been a gentleman and politely let Sete through,He's a class racer and all the guy wants to do is win,I admire that, maybe Sete needs a bit more of the killer instinct. Is anyone planning to go to any motogp rounds?
Who do you think will win the championship? I think we should have a forum for guessing race results and the winner gets a prize, that would be exciting i know
I think the main issue isn't with the riders, but rather with the FIM, and how they enforce penalties.
This isn't just with FIM, I am sure you will find it in AMA, as well as WSB. If a rider who wasn't as winning as Rossi did that move, they would have been fined, and penalized I am sure. In fact history shows that is the case.
As for Sete? He was the real man in the end. Did not complain, showed that he was grateful for his finish, and is more determined then ever to beat Rossi.
This could be the best thing ever to heat up Sete to push harder. Could make for a very exciting season.
As an American, I am rather bummed that Nicky pushed the front with eight laps to go, and went down. He had a good lead on fourth, and could have rode the bike to a podium finish for the first race. Guess he will need to work harder now. Hopefully between now and Laguna, the entire grid will have crashed out at least once each, allowing Nicky to catch up in points with the leaders, making Laguna a real exciting race with an American in the hunt
