if the oil is designed for an injection system, you should be okay there.

You could disconnect the oil injectors, drain your fuel tank, do a small amount of pre-mix (say 32:1) put that in the fuel tank and see if it starts.

Check your plugs for wet/fouled plugs, check your float to make sure the bowls are not overfull, check ignition system to make sure your getting spark.

Hi Mate
looking at your last thread and this one. I put a second hand crank in my mc21 a month ago first it started good no power down low and got better the higher the revs got and it worked out that the centre crank seal was no good . Then only way i could start it was by putting a bit of fuel down the carbs(pre-mixed) and would start straight away . Try a leak down test.

Has it been stood for any length of time?

Will it bump start?

What condition is the battery in?

don't forget to block the injector inlets on the carbs.

Is that Motul 600 your running ?
Ive tried heaps of different oils, and 600 was the worst for almost fouling plugs everytime you start it cold.

It would start ok, but blow heaps of smoke and cough and run rough until it cleared. It would take about 500mt to come good. If would also start to foul just buy riding at light throttle too. I had to regularly wind it to redline to keep it clean. Fun, but annoying around the suburbs

Castrol TTS is much more consistant.

I dont know why the Motul 600 was so painfull.
