Thanks for posting the SATT date nice and early. It gives me chance to try to schedule my overseas work around it.

Last year was a great event, except for the bunch of 4T 600 / 1000s which came in at the last moment, I guess to fill up places and sort the financials out?

Hopefully enough 2T riders will come forward this year to fill all the places.

Some of those 4T racer chaps that came in the fast group were unbelievably quick Shocked. I didn't mind at all really though; it was quite informative to see how it should be done Cool.

I did several track days last year, and observed some seriously quick guys on 4T 600 / 750 / 1000 ripping it up, slipper clutches working over time..... Respect.

But the Cadwell 2T track day should be all 2T......Hopefully.

At every other TD during the year, you can see the fast 4T guys???

And they were racers, a couple of them were DP boys.
I'd guess we were running a tad under 2 min laps then, I couldn't get past you but you didn't drop me, fast thou boys run 1.32's. F400 lap record is 1.37.something Surprised

Even if you don't race (which you should) you should come up to watch. If there's a TD the day before this year we could do it and then you can stay and watch the races. There's always a spare ticket or 3 in the paddock (every racer gets 2 spares for his "crew") and if that fails you can either hassle MJ who's always willing to oblige or just keep a low profile, the paddock is rammed, no one checks that carefully and why would they? We're all spending money in the bar and so on.

There should be a couple of owners clubs coming this year so we are keeping our fingers crossed that we can keep the 4T completely out (unless someone breaks their 2T the week before or something).

Would perhaps be up for that, Fontyyy (the trackday and the spectating bit - too old, too skint and too busy for the other Embarassed ). It'd depend a bit on timing and other logistics of course though as Cadwell is a hell of a trek from down here. Hard to beat on a sunny day though...

1.37! Hell's bells! That's godlike from where I'm sitting. Shocked Cool Very big respect.

To get the thread back on track. I shall be very definitely attending Sam & Allan's excellent Cadwell shindig. And so should all of you NSR types. A 250 stroker is capable of so much more than you'll ever do with it on the road Cool . And the always-up-for-it RGV boys reckon yer all a bunch of Mr. Sheen wielding pansies with dog slow bikes... Laughing Wink

Yep, national bandits gate crashing our races! Danny Frear, 1.37.5 on a ZXR400, F250 record went the same weekend to Dan Hegarty 1.39.05 on MJ's KR1S which might be even more impressive.
Both records were Alan Armour's at 1.39.5ish before.
