Just to add I am not doing this for asthetic reasons I am thinking of doing it as the hoses on the bike are looking pretty sorry for themselves and a set of Honda hoses will not be £80

i think original would look better if its a standard looking bike your after, a tricked up tyga/race bike then I would go for coloured.

Got to say I dont like coloured hoses myself, do they do them in black?
Its your bike though so really down to personal preference and if you want to fit new hoses I suppose its a cheaper option.

Just thought i will let you all know, i have fitted a samco kit to my mc18 and they fit ok but you only get 4 hoses in the kit when there should be 7.

the ones missing are the straight piece from thermostat to rear cylinder head, rear cylinder to water pump and front cyclinder to water pump hose.

There are two Samco kits... One have 4 pieces and the other is the full kit that has 7 pieces... You probably bought the one with the 4 pieces (cheaper)...

that's what I thought but I bought the mc18 kit not mc21 kit. Check samco website and it shows more hoses in the picture for the mc21 kit but the quantity of hoses listed for that kit says only 4 hoses.

you can get the kits in black but they are special order and take around 2-3 weeks to get in as I supply them.

I am tempted to edit that link as it's an Ebay link and thus not allowed. But as it's an £87 set of hoses I'm going to leave it, surely no one...NO ONE is going to buy them.

£87! Please tell me people don't spend this sort of money on a fivers worth of rubber hose.
