If I hadn't bought and wasn't still paying formy NC35 which cost an equally stupid amount of money I'd be very tempted.
Dunno, do they really go for that sort of cash? The £4300 I paid for my RVF is smack on the money for a mint one from a dealer and they wouldn't budge on price one bit. _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
I bought my first 28 from Bike Direct back in 1998 I think. It was a mint 1994 SE and cost £3400. It only had 800 miles on the clock!! They're part of BAT Motorcycles so if anyone in the South East wanetd it it's no problem for them to get it to BAT's for collection. _________________ NSR300R - Why did i ever have a 250...
The bodywork looks a bit to clean for me, I think it's had a re-spray.
If you look at the picture of the top of the forks, you can see that the bit of foam which goes around the headlight has some white paint on it ( where it has been masked up for painting).
I rekon if you had a real close up it wouldn't look like five grand.
somebody please tell this isn't the usual price for a mc28! that's about $10K-$11K US if my is correct! that as much or more than i paid for my rc51. my dreams may be shattering what is the going rate for 21's and 28's anyway? _________________ To much HP is barely adequate!
we were talking about this MC28 last night and i recon its to nice to be standard, it has the usual pitting on the fork legs yet the inside of the fairings look like new (as do the outsides).
if i was considering paying that much i would be having all the fairings off checking the wireing and having a good look up the exhaust ports.
i'm sure the shop would just love someone taking the chambers off

XE.com reckons £4695 is $8,887.82.
and thats not a usual MC28, it's a mint Rothmans SP, bearing in mind the horrendous popularity of the Repsol rep paintjob in general I'd say it's the most desirable of NSR's in the world.
Around £3000 or so (best part of $6000) would be more like it for a "normal" MC28 I'd have thought.
Dunno, lets see what this MC28 goes for. _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
I don't think they WERE part of BAT. Maybe they took over BAT recently?
I had a Firestorm from them years ago. I always thought thier used stuff a bit expensive. They had several RC30's at silly money on the floor for ages.
Charles just looked at the featured bike section and wanted to say that you have a beaut of a bike,i'm soooooooooo jealous, the tyga gp race tail is absolutely lushious. You have done a truly grand job.
