Hey Guys, I just bought my sought after honda NS50F, I know its not a NSR but it shares the same motor so its kind of the grandfather to the nsr. I love this bike, I had an Aprilia rs50 and this is a way better bike. Hope I might find some other ns owners on here and help find some parts here in the states. thanks, george

Hi George!

Welcome to the forum.

Got any pictures? Not sure I even know what that bike looks like!

That's a pretty neat little bike. I almost ordered one a looooooong time ago but wasn't sure it would be fast enough for my commute. At the time I was riding an ancient CB350 twin. The new 50 looked slick and I bet if it was built up it would do some tearing. Let us know how it runs!

It runs great. I have it apart for painting right now. I dont know what the heck the prevoius owners did to it. It looked like someone cleaned it with barbed wire and a hammer. Every panel on the bike had deep gouges and hack marks. Someone bondoed the tank and didnt sand the bondo at all, just shot the black paint right over it. I had to skim coat all the panels and sand most of it off, to level everything out. Any ideas for paintjobs? I want to do a racer rep from about 1990. thanks, george

I like it. Does it have a variable exhaust port ? Any body work available?

I wonder if MB5 wheels would fit? Then you'd have mags. Sure would be neat to fab up a full fairing and give it a Rothmans paint job!

I had my eye on a set of Magnisium wheels off a RS125 gp bike. $500 for the pair. I have some nose fairings I might see how they look. White is the base for a Rothmans paint job. g
