hi guy/girls.
thanks for all your help with my cdi unit hope that bits now sorted. now i know this has prob been asked befor , im after now fitting a more modern looking front end , is there a front end that just bolts sraight in or do yolks have to be alterd to fit , i have a nice set of tz forks & was hoping i could find some yolks to be able to fit them, if not what does fit.
cheers guys/girls.
If you are looking to just improve your front suspension. you can try using heavier fork oil 15 to 20 weight , dropping the front forks into the triple clamps an inch. like:
Higher rear and lower front = less likelihood of running wide in corners and quicker turn in. You can also get heavier fork springs??
I know people just wanna buy a second hand USD set of forks and just adapt them but its sometimes its just better to improve what you have unless u have a set of Honda RS250 forks....
you can fit any forks you like, ive just taken my rvf forks out and replaced them with these 2006-7 model r6 radial forks _________________ ive seen more tarts than mr kipling
i've got zxr 400 H forks on mine, just had adapters made to fit the nsr bearings onto the zxr steerer and spacers for the front wheel (washers by any other name).
My track bike has this front end on it and to be honest I notice no difference from my SP or SE with the standard ones. It does look nice, but the only reason it's there is because it came that way. I wouldn't go through the trouble of doing it though.

just a heads up on the TYGA triples if you are based in the UK and a carbon member you get 5% off our list price and if a titanium member you get 10% off www.jap4performance.com

Thank you for the link. They sure do look nice....
SP forks are hard to come by and or shagged ( those that I have seen anyway ).
But am considering all options. I also have a ZXR250 that I race and its suspension
has issues dealing with ripples in a off camber down hill turn, so
I want something that can deal with the ripples better than 20 yr old technology.
