sp flashes on display when hrc card inserted

hi guys, my mc28 is a se however sp flashes on display when hrc card inserted...is this normal?

When an MC28 is derestricted using the HRC card, it flashes up SP in the dash, and then shows a large temp gauge where the speedo should be.

All is normal.....

Just one thing to note for those who've just about to install the HRC card for the first time, it that you need to leave it in the slot till the SP disappears off the screen. That about a minute.

Now I'm not sure if this is true, but I've been told that if you take the card out before it's run through this process, the card will not work again...... be warned.

When I putted in the HRC030 card for the first time the SP sign disapered after 1 or 2 seconds.
