SATT 2010 Booking Details!!!

Fri Mar 26, 2010 8:17 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

That's right the number one 2-Stroke Trackday of the year is back! Anyone is welcome on any 2-Stroke but if you've blown it up the week before then you're more than welcome on a 4-Stroke. Please note: Diesels will get heckled and taunted but rightly so!

With the circuit bar and restaurant open the night before take the opportunity to chat with fellow 2-Stroke enthusiasts over a beer and a bite to eat.

The price has increased this year but with the loss of Donington Park track time is at a premium. Still, MSV and SATT have worked together and secured a great date, good price and non publicised booking. This means we have the chance to book the circuit for ourselves. We will be running two groups this year, Novice and a combined Intermediate/Fast group. Tell everyone you know. Beg, borrow or steal to get yourself there as this day will be worth it!

Date: Friday 30th July 2010
Track: Cadwell Park (Full Circuit)
Groups: Novice and Intermediate/Fast
Price: £98.10 (Usually £109)
Camping: £5 (See offer below)
Noise Limit: 105dB

Booking Link: www.clubmsv.co.uk/satt

Camping & Meal deal: Instead of paying for camping on the day you can pay an extra £14.50 when booking. This will include camping, a meal in the bar (scampi & chips, steak pie & chips or curry & rice) and a pint (Fosters, Strongbow or John Smiths).

Disclaimer: By joining/attending this event you take full responsibility for yourselves and your safety. We are organising this at no personal gain to ourselves other than getting to see a whole load of strokers together riding round an awesome circuit! We accept no responsibility/liability for you or your property in anything related to this event. The event is in no way linked to rgv250.co.uk or any other forum.

Hope you are all looking forward to this!

FYI - Classic Motorcycle Mechanics magazine should be covering it. New Editor Ben Wilkins may even bring his RG500!!!

Important Update

SATT 2010 is now going to be 100% Two Stroke Only!!!

We are still going to run 2 groups unless we get a lot more bookings so this means even more track time!!!!

We currently have the novice group about half full and the int/adv nearer two thirds full. To ensure we can keep this event going for years to come we need more bookings! Tell your friends, get them to tell their friends, post the link on your Facebook or anywhere else you can think of, you won't regret coming. The camping and meal deal for £14 is proving popular meaning people can come the night before, have a drink in the bar and socialise with other 2 stroke enthusiasts.

We have 4 weeks to go on Friday, not long now!!!

Hi all, as per last year Ash from the RGV forum is getting some T-shirts made up, if you want one details below!

"This year they will be a similar design to last years but printed instead of the transfer type, I hope this will wear better and also its more breathable. The design on the back will be a suprise , but I guarantee 99% it will offend nobody as far as i can see.

Anyone wanting a T shirt please send a £10 cheque along with your details (full name & size wanted) to...

P. Ashley, Orchard house, Main road, Saltfleetby, LN11 7SN

No Cheque No T

All cheques need to be with me by Friday 16th July

If you have to pay by paypal please send £10.54 to cover T-shirt and fees and send to e mail address paul@ashley1708.freeserve.co.uk

If paying by paypal you still need to note on the payment the size wanted and your full name

All T's can be collected on the day

I will be at the am briefing so you can collect them then. Ash"

Leigh, not many takers as you can see.

Also possibly Fontyyy, I don't think there is a DP round that weekend???

I know Dave (bd197) is going with a mate.

All in all, doesn't look like a huge turnout from this forum........but some is better than none however. See you there mate.

Would love to go again this year but cannot afford to blow the 300 up again, think it would end in a divorce.

Maybe i should get rid of the cbr600 track bike and buy a 2 stroke track bike?

Well then, it's clear enough, do the TD, blow up the 300, sell the cbr600, put the 300 back to a 250, get a divorce.

A plan with no drawbacks, you'll have an NSR250, no CBR600 and no ball and chain.
Anything else left over from the sale of the CBR can be spent on trick bits or possibly an air fare to somewhere......
Perfect!

As for the TD I'll probably be there Wink
