Fixing a MC21 SE

Sun May 09, 2010 8:09 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi guys, im new to this forum, I just bought a mc21 SE for very cheap but it came in boxes. The previous owner pulled it apart about 5 years ago, and then did nothing with it so I'm sure I will be asking heaps of dumb questions in the coming months while I build it up.

My main question is, has anyone put an early model RS250 USD forks into a MC21?? Thats the only thing I dont like about the MC21!

Cheers guys, hope for a response soon.

yeah, that was the one, turned out it was a SE model, in very good nick apart from the fairings. Quite a bargain I think.

How much did that go for in the end? I was going to grab it at the bargain buy-it-now price, but by the time I'd done a check to see if it wasn't stolen, and got a reply back from the seller, some idiot had but a bid on it (starting at $500, bids to $750, with an $800 buy-it-now???).

What are you going to do with the bodywork?

Good luck with the re-build. 2 years on and I'm still on mine. Aprilia RS forks should go in with a stem modification.
