My first off !!! Gz to me, tx..

Right hand hairpin exits into a sweeping left hander, last practice (saturday)session of the day, cold tires, colder track..

Flicked over from right to left, power didnt transfer to the ground right away, into a low side, saw butt, left an inch of left hand rearset, bar end gone, nasty scratches on muffler was about it, few on the fairing..

Raceday (sunday) put a few washers to use to extend the rearset out a bit. I was there at the finnish 5 times.. Wink

Who do you race with??

I know that the Motorcycle Sportsman in Qld do not allow the use of tyre warmers. Is this the same with who you compete with?

Ouch! I did the same at the start of the year, over-excited on cold tyres!

You'll not do it again (for a while), thats for sure!

3 bikes in our shed, was about mid arvo, and one guy was giving me a few tips.. "We all lean off the bike and lean forward to gain corner speed, but try bending your elbow" so i was thinking about that at the time, it worked around that hairpin lol

Around the same time the other guy had packed his bike up, and asked me if i wanted to try his tire warmers.. not having the popper stands, i guess not..

I race with Cafe Racers Club, only my 2nd race

Best to make all your mistakes when you're not so fast a racer - ask Rossi / Doohan / Rainey.

Or stay slow if you keep making them... Wink
