Total loss ignition ?

Hi guys ,

does anyone have a comparison between total loss ignition and a standard ignition ?
I am thinking of getting the tyga one . Any comments ?

I know three people who've not finished a race because of total loss (i.e. flat battery) if that's any help.

I second that sentiment, i built a race Aprilia with total loss ignition and it was just a nuisance, for .25 to 1 hp difference it was more effort than it was worth, in my case anyhow.....

Charging and maintaining multiple batteries was a drag and constant fear that it would last the day etc.....

I raced using total loss on an NSR for two seasons. Never DNF'd due to a flat battery.
