FS: 91' MC21 with Tyga Kit, FINAL PRICE DROP £1850

Mon Jun 07, 2010 1:46 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Thinking about selling my 21, it's an R,H reg, with near new tyga fairing RSWstyle with GP Race seat in movistar colour, the fairing and the paint job is viturally like new, the engine was rebuilt by last owner just before it's last MOT, and has since only done few hundred miles, it's been rebuilt with 18 cyclinder and heads, tyga pipes, runs great and pulls hard as it should, i haven't taken the fairing off to have a look to see if it's been jetted or derestricted, but the spares i got with the bike included some of the parts from the hrc jet kit. WR's rearset (20mm back and 20mm up), HRC Rear Brake Reservoir Kit, dunlop 208 tyres, now the bad bits. T&T just ran out end of may, i haven't bothered to get these done as i've only ridden the bike about 250mile in the whole of last year :S, indicator switch is a bit tempermetal but i have a spare one to go with it, thats pretty much about it. £1850

Hi

A few questions Smile

The tyga pipes, are they mild steel or stainless?

How much life is left in the brake discs and pads?
The same for the chain and prockets?
How much life left in the tyres?
How long is it since the engine was rebuilt? (edit: just saw you wrote just a few 100 miles ago Very Happy but is that several years ago?)
Any pitting in the chrome on the fork tubes?

Kind regards and merry christmas Smile

Martin

hi martin, sorry for the delay in reply,
the pipes are stainless, pads have around 6mm left on them all round, the disc are all in good condition. same as the chain and sprocket, the tires have around 3-5mm left of tread, 3mm in the center and 5mm round the side,
the engine was rebuilt just before i got it, was 1 1/2 years ago, but i've only done 250miles or so, the forks are in good condition, no piting, i did try to start the bike today but the battery is a bit flat so will need a charge or a jump, but i'm confident it'll start

Cheers for that Smile

Don't worry about the delay Smile You are a busy man, as you said. That's perfectly ok

Just found a couple of things I forgot to ask about (sorry Rolling Eyes ):
-Do you have the original V5?
-Does it run on oil-pump or is it converted to pre-mix?
-Any scratches in the paintwork?

And don't bother spending time and money in Tax and MOT. If I'm gonna take it to Denmark that won't be needed Smile

Kind regards
Martin
