there seems tp be a few people reporting front cylinder fouling over the years and wondered if the way the cylinders are cooled could be a contributory factor ( the front cylinder recieves the cooled water from the rad first , where the rear cylinder gets coolant from the front cylinder)??
Have you done a temperature check to see how much difference there is between the two?
I suspect the water is moving quickly enough round the system for there not to be too great a change, though I would expect the front to run cooler simply because it is in the airflow, where the rear head hardly receives any. _________________ MC21SP Plaything

From my experience setting float heights, having good float valves & seats and especially a new fuel tap helped a lot with the front cylinder fouling up.
