NF5 Shock length

Hi does anyone have a NF5 rear shock they could measure the length of?

In another thread there is a mention of the nf5 rear shock being 33.5cm.
Anyone know if that length would suit the mc21?

How long is your '21 shock?

I can't remember how much taller my HRC is set, but adjuster is wound out to max, and I expect it's probably about +20~25mm.

The NF5 shock is 335mm in length. The NSR shock is 315mm.

The NF5 won't fit the NSR swingarm linkages as it uses a 'fork' type mount at the bottom, not an 'eye' type like the NSR.

A better bet is to fit an old CBR600 shock or an RS125shock as this is the right length and fittings. The big problem with the RS125 shock is the standard sub frame needs cutting to accomodate the reservoir.

Check out Si's MC21, he's had one fitted.
