I really enjoyed it. Long straight is a bit long really, though you can get flat out if you dare / have the right gearing. Was good practising Fookin hard stops at the end of the straight for the turn in.
Plenty of track to get round the big bikes in the corners too. _________________ MC21SP Plaything

oohhh, the International circuit...neve rhad the pleasure myself though I've done the National several times. That (the National) is a 250 hunting ground, there's zero excuse for anything getting past you buit this sounds like fun...if my bike survives the approaching 3 day on slaught (Anglesey races this Sat/Sun then Cadwell TD on Monday) I'll be up for this _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
Good stuff, let me know next week before you book, I am not 100% yet but if there is at least one more two stroke there then I will be more interested.
IŽd be there if I wasnŽt away on holiday, should be a good day. _________________ Rich

Cheers to Tom and Fontyyy (and Barry and Jon on their diesels) for another good day onthe track...almost incident free except for my exhausts cracking and the carbs overflowing, at least the new pistons and rings felt better!
Fontyyy, you will be pleased to know the bikes didnt fall off the trailer....although they did come close!!!!!
The two Air Ambulance visits were a little off putting but a great (cold) day. The RS250 held up well, shame I'm now broken. The aches and pains of hustling the bike about have taken their toll.
Leigh your bike is fast now, visably a good amount faster than it was at Cadwell. I couldn't even get near you though Rockingham Int most be one of the worst circuits in the country for showing up a difference in power (as well as being one of the worst circuits in the country full stop) as it's impossible to get a good run onto the oval and there's far to many places where you end up single file.
It would be interesting to run your bike either on the dyno or in a straight line race against any 250, it looked to easily have the legs on Tom's RS and that had enough power to get past me on the short straight between the last hairpin and the horrid flip flop flip chicane onto the oval. _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
It did feel noticably better, and not much was pulling away from it down the back straight including some the big 1000s, it had the legs to pull past Jon on his 748 down that little straight . I am not sure if the slightly newer style RS pistons have had any effect?
I am quite interested to get it on the dyno again, maybe when I get the 300 set up over winter I will take it for a quick power run and see where it is at now.
