left the bike untouched for 2-3weeks now and its been parked outdoor. Tried kick starting it and also tried push starting it with no luck. When pushing starting I can feel the engine turning but just cant start. Anyways to cut things short...
I tried kick starting today and found out when I turn the "Kill Switch" ON. Theres no sound... (this might sound silly) but what i mean is everytime I turn the KillSwtich ON the red oil light will go on along with a soft mechanical sound.
I'm sure u can tell i'm no expert but can anyone diagnose what the problem maybe?
The battery is fine, with the engine off the lights are not struggling at all for power plus its only 6 months old.
If you're concerned that the problem is power related move the RC valve motor manually and turn the bike on again. If it doesn't get moved back there's a problem. _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
As fonty (as normal always gets in before I do) mentioned, check that the power valve servo resets when turning on the kill switch (that's the soft noise you were hearing before).
Also, does the oil light come on when you turn the switch on?
If not, start checking the wiring harness to make sure you don't have a short in the harness for the switch. As well as check that the switch is actually working.
If the oil light comes on, but the power valve servo motor isn't "resetting", then start checking power to the servo motor. if no power to the servo motor, turning it to hi (open), should allow you to start/run the bike. If the bike still doesn't start, check for spark. if no spark, then my guess is you have more serious electrical issues then the switch. could be a main fuse, or something like that.
