There's a ride day on the Manfeild race track extension catering for smaller bikes such as 2 strokes, buckets, 400s etc on the 16th of October (next saturday).

Its $60 (no EFTPOS on site so cash only) for the whole days riding which is a bit of a bargain as i'm sure you'll agree. There were just three of us in the 'sportsbike' category last time (the other category was supermotos) so i'm hoping to rouse some additional interest if any more NZ based riders stumble across this message. I'm not involved with the organisers, i just want to encourage more like minded souls to come for a play! The last day was great and it was cool riding on a virtually deserted track but it'd be better if we had a load more 250 2Ts out there. It was just me with my MC21 300, WhitebaitNZ with his NSR and another fella with his Aprilia RS last time. Well there was actually another guy on a CBR250 who smoked us all rather embarrassingly but that just goes to show you what a good rider can do on a tight and twisty circuit with no real straights!

There's no booking, its just first up, best dressed. The entrance to the extension part of the track is off Kawakawa road by the car club rooms (where there's a little green go kart circuit).
