In my right carb the needle blocker thingy is rotated.
Is this bad? If so, how do I rotate it back. It has resisted gentle force up to this point.
As a dovetail question....
When I moved house I managed to lose/misplace my HRC B and C needles/ I'm pretty mad at myself that I didn't unpack them and put them with the rest of the stuff when they came in from Japan. Anyway. My engine is about ready to run and I still have the A needles that were in the carbs. Would they be ok to use for heat cycling? I'm still aways off riding on the road so I'll buy/find some more B needles before then.
Do the blockers just pop out down the same hole as the emulsion tubes?
They still feel quite solid.
P.S. Did my first run in. In the 5 minutes of revving after I hit operating temp the temperature gauge almost got to the top notch, just before the red area.
It was 30 degrees at least and I was revving the bike on the spot but I just want to check this is ok. I didn't end up rebuilding the water pump, but if it's a bit sluggish I might have to.
