I had the same problem with mine

New float valves help

A new fuel tap made the biggest difference, as only a couple of carbs of fuel will drain down even if the float valves don't do their job

my fuel tap is working fine.
anyway the fuel is coming out the overflow pipe on the right carb and out the bottom of the carb bowl.
so i changed the float valve and put on a different carb bowl off a set of mc16 carbs and its still doing the same thing.
i am out of ideas now.

Clean the seat for the float valve with a Q tip in a drill and some brasso! Go gently though. Very Happy
