Better Late than never!

Probably should have posted some progression but it's done now.

Went from a ratty R model with horrible air leaks in the bottom end to a fully rebuild SP engine with dry clutch. Rebuilt SP forks. HRC jet kit and reeds, HRC stuffers and a nice Chinese fairing kit in my favourite colour scheme. Pulled off the Tyga bits and put it back to stock subframe and no rear hugger. I like having a passenger seat to scare the ladies...

Well, aren't you the cocky one?!

Some of us here don't need a passenger seat to scare the ladies, so please spare a thought for us less fortunate looking owners who scare them just by taking our lids off before making comments like that again!! Laughing

Seriously though, looks nice! When are you going to do the wheels gold to finish it though?! Wink

Supplier

Bought from this Ebay listing:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Race-fairing-NSR250R-MC21-NSR-PGM3-HRC-90-91-92-93-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem4155e8ce4bQQitemZ280614194763QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

I Believe one of the other forum members ordered from him first.

I contacted the guy direct on fairingkit@live.com to get my number and also make sure I got one cut for road gear.

I'm not sure I ever got a name....

They were done quick and came in the post VERY quick in Sydney.

I was very impressed with the work, all decals are painted and fit and finish is excellent for the price.

HOWEVER! Pretty much every mount that wasn't part of the main moulds i.e. the Box type ones on the front stone guard. Broke off very easily. Maybe it's just because all my mounts were bent and I was manhandling the fairings to get them to line up.

So many people pointing out the Wheels are the wrong colour and the guard is the wrong colour and the fork bottoms are the wrong colour.

You all missed the tank! It's off a different colour scheme completely. I'm quite happy with how it looks tho and it will do the job until I can get my other tank repaired and painted up correctly.

Another satisfied customer of Lun, done me a Terra kit, you couldnt get a bodykit painted here for the price to your door. plus he will do what you want ie, no headlight, one piece seat, you name it you got it.

I bought a set off him annd they arrived damaged. He ignores my emails and when he did contact me told me I would have to pay postage again to get a replacement part. The quality is not great either. Seems like some guys are happy, so maybe I was unlucky.
