Wanted HRC or equivilant fork springs

Tue Mar 15, 2011 4:53 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

I am looking for heavier fork springs for my 93 MC 21. In particular I am looking for a 0.7-.09 progressing fork springs. The part number from Honda is 51403-NH3-761. No longer available from Honda Japan.

Conversly, I would take stock MC 21 R fork springs due to the fact that they have a higher rating than both the SE and SP models.

I am 192 pounds plus leathers and have already upgraded my rear shock spring to a 14kg and need to update the forks.

If you have any suggestions and or springs that would work for my application, I would really like to talk to you.

Thanks,

Check with Race Tech. They are your way and list springs for NSRs.

Cheers

Race Tech

I contacted Race Tech and they have springs for the MC 28, but not a MC 21. Race Tech did not realize the the MC 28 springs will not fit an MC 21. I am in the process of taking apart my forks, measuring the length and OD of the springs. They Race Tech will tray and match the springs with the charts of springs they carry.

Once I have gone through this process I will post the results so everyone has a reference to work from.
