Battle Factory Rearsets

Sat Apr 16, 2011 1:36 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Can anyone tell me if Battle Factory rearsets can be used on the road, i.e. can you fit the brake light switch?

I'm looking at these http://redline-ci.com/aftermarket/Rear%20Sets%20Images/BA03-H02-90B.htm and was going to email the supplier but thought I'd get a quicker response here.

Cheers

Cheers Smile

I'll get them working somehow even if it's not standard.

Going to order the Battle Factory front & rear stands too. Nice website, only just found it.

Use a hydraulic brake light switch. It replaces the rear banjo bolt or, requires a longer banjo bolt and sits above the hose banjo.

Just type hydraulic brake light switch into google.
Plenty of places worldwide that have them. You want a motorcycle specific one really. Replaces the banjo bolt and has waterproof boot over the terminals.

I ordered a set from redline last year and waited 4 months for them to arrive!!! What a nightmare company to deal with. I personally think they are cheap looking and not worth the money. Never mind the break light issue. Been on a shelf ever since they arrived. The stock honda rearsets are far superior in my opinion. I ended up buying a nice footpeg off ebay for $15 and machined a stepback plate myself for the stock rearset. Waste of $400...Spend it on your motor or something.
