Picked this little gem up recently. Haven't had a chance to go through her yet, waiting on warmer weather, but already like her after the first small ride I've had. Looking forward to gleaning info and contributing here

Yes, they are Magteks. Is that not the stock wheel?

Means you more than likely have an SP...has it got adjustable forks & shock?

looking at the pics they im pretty sure they are the adjustable forks

Good eye... yes, adjustable on both ends, and a dry clutch. Cool, didn't know it was an SP. The seller told me someone had done a dry clutch conversion before he bought it. He didn't have the bike for too long, so assuming he just didn't know the details.

Very nice. It looks like a 28 style seat unit on there!

yeah 28 tail with a 21 seat. I reckon you did stumble upon a SP, or someone that has slowly done the upgrade to the bits and pieces.

When was the top end last done and what's the claimed mileage?

So what are your plans for this bike?

Thanks for the info on the bike guys. The mileage shows 16,800 kms. I have no idea when the last top-end was done. I keep an eye out for interesting bikes for my collection at decent prices, so jumped on this one for $5,000, which is a great price for a bike here in the US, even though its not very original. This one will sit alongside my other smokers and get ridden a few times a year on short rides.

stock chambers, looks like something funny with those cans (either cut up original or old school aftermarkets), stock fender too

I'd do a compression test just to make sure things are ok, or stick a top end in. When you do that, atleast you'll be able to check if you have SE/P barrels and heads.

Whats going on with the headlight fairing? Looks like nsr150 ?

Are you speaking of the upper cowling? It doesn't appear to be stock?

BTW, I have one of the 4 cell Moty lightweight batteries on the way. Will let you know how it works out.

Hmmmm..... might go for one of those Chinese fairing sets on eBay and sell this fairing off. Just thinking out loud....
