why are the stacked pipes from tyga making more power than the each side of the bike pipes. from all the pipes and what people have said, the stack ed pipes have a harder time to find routing and are at mis matched lentghs so should
yes, sorry about that i bet theres not alot of difference though, are you buying a set of exhausts mate? i wouldnt worry about it to much, just buy which set you prefer _________________ ive seen more tarts than mr kipling
i am gonna get a new set each side of bike type i just thought it was strange i spent 2 years looking for each side of the bike ones for my rs 250 when i raced that, there pipes go against the science imo yes a nice set of pipes with carbon kevelar cans looks nice to me the standard ones o my they are heavy real heavy they have to go and hopefully some magteks on the way
I notice on the 1st chart there are a number of mod codes like A/B, which is Air Box and I assume it also has a wire slice from restricted 45 to 60 BHP. My MC18 2J dyno'd at 56 BHP standard with the restictor wire removed. Does that means there's not much difference over standard other than the lovely sound from single walled pipes _________________ Why do things simply when you can complicate them

From Tygas site:
It's not the same tune!
By your logic we should all run Dogfights as they make over 74bhp!

The purple trace is stock pipes, the red trace is Tyga GP pipes, info all here.
I'll leave it up to you if 1.5bhp and 500rpm overrev is worth 9bhp in the middle. _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread

OK, but on the flip side, at the start of that extra 500rpm (@11,500rpm) TYGA's are 10hp more than the stock pipes.
Are you going shopping or racing?
I know I shouldn't say this as it's very bad marketing, but if you want an easy ride on the street then stick with stock pipes. They're a lot heavier than race pipes, but they're less likely to upset the neighbours with a load of ring ding dinging in the morning, and offer good driveability in a real world situation. However, if you're going racing, or you're a track day lunatic then how often do you spend wobbling around between 7~9,000rpm?
