going to see this bike sunday. $6000 us which is around 3800 for you blokes.
low km, repainted wheels. anything common to watch for . thinking of offering 5500 as it will need a rebuild in a few km.
thx dave
well he states its completely standard in the add, what about those wavey discs i wish they were standard.
personally i think its about £1500 over priced others may disagree with me maybe a bit more but then again it might not be in your country as they say just my 2 cents worth _________________ if dont fall off every now and then your not trying hard enough
i may be new to ownership. so not sure about value. these bikes are grey market. maybe less than 5 in canada. discussion is what its all about.

No, and it wouldn't really be possible to write a worldwide one.
In somewhere like Thailand that bike is worth about £1500, in the USA with a title it'd be about £6000.
Here in a dealers it'd be £5000+. As a private sale with a realistic price to sell probably under £3000.
In all cases you'd be wise to assume it needs a top end, the mileage is a lie, be wary of any bike that's been sat for years doing nothing or doesn't like starting as both point to dodgy crank seals. _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
Be suspect of the mileage especially when the ad states "all stock", yet has wavy rotors and is missing the pillion seat. Could have had fairings replaced with aftermarket pieces. I wonder why the wheels had to be painted after only 13000kms...
I would look at wearing items like foot rest rubbers, handle grips etc..
Do some research and look for all higher mileage cues.
Also, since these bikes are ultra rare in this part of the world.. I have seen basic "R" models with SE fairings being advertised as an SE. So look for dry clutch.
As far as prices, they are a bit subjective. In my experience a "nice" SE should fetch 6-7k CDN, more for a super clean minty original one. And more for a nice SP.
Have a look on goobike, then factor shipping, will give you a better idea.
also look at raresportbikesforsale.com for an american opinion on prices.
owner says he rides it a few times a year. starts no problem. calls himself a collector. has returned rotors to stock. no mention of rebuild. red fades maybe just a freshen up.
i am on raresportbikes and the price is in line for what is advertised.
thanks for all the imput. i dont need this bike just an opportunity. already got a plated 2009 aprilia rs125 which i already gave a top end.
Hmm... 30hp RS125 single vs. 60+hp NSR250 V-twin...
I`m all for small capacity strokers, but really, there`s no contest! The RS125 may be fun for a nanosecond, but ride an unrestricted (let alone a well modified) MC21 once, and you won`t want to ever ride the 125 single again! _________________

Not sure about that, I loved my RS125, flat out from the far side of Whatstandwell Bridge all the way into Matlock Bath...brill. _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
