Don't worry, silikesguiness has been on here building his MC21 for about 15 years, and he still can't post a nicely formatted set of images to save his life! _________________ Andy.

Normally I am extremely skeptical of mileage on odometers... my MC21 went for years without a speedo cable, but it looks extremely clean so I don't reckon it's that far off!
Some things are easily replaced to make a bike look less used than it really is, but either someone's gone mad on it (looking at things like the fasteners on the chain guard and clean/shiny OEM sprocket) or it's a very good example. _________________ Andy.

it does seem very clean would have thought it cost a lot to replace all them parts to make it look as good as it does, could buy new bolts, spindles, sprocket etc but swinging arm, fairings, std exhaust must be harder to come by so im hopeing it's all genuine.il soon find out
Thanks paul g, it's my first nsr, and im looking forward to it's arrival how was your's did you have any problems with it i should check for when it comes? how many nsr's have you had?
I was in London in 1994, looking for an NSR in various locations... Sumo Imports (later Suto Imports), BAT M/C's, and a couple other places. We went to one place and asked if they had any NSR's, and the guy told us there was one "out the back". We went for a wonder and found it... a red & white 'R' just like that one, with a sign on it "SOLD to Andy"!
My mate, being a big Back to the Future fan, just said "it's your density"!
I put a deposit on my MC21SE that day... and still have it! _________________ Andy.

Only problem I had with mine was the power valves didnt work when I got it. Common problem on nsr's, powervalves get coked up and seize which burns out the power valve servo motor and fries the power valve circuit in the pgm. If yours has only done 5000km then it shouldnt be a problem, the first job i would be doing on it would be a power valve clean though just to be on the safe side.
I had the 21r for a couple of years, sold it to Dan (geckoracing) when I bought my 21sp. Also got another mc21r in bits and a mc28sp in bits.
I think regardless of the mileage, even if it shits itself, it'll be worth rebuilding. UV has had its way with the black bits, but hardly worth noting.
Thanks for the coments i think your probabley right about the power valve
clean up, regardless of milage worth cleaning before my 2 sstroke journey
begins i'l have a search on the site to see what involved thanks.
i'm away from a computer for a day and get ribbed, cheers andy bike looks clean though mate and andy is right i cant use blooming computers _________________ ive seen more tarts than mr kipling
