I know this has been asked before but I can’t seem to find it in the posts. Who is the guy that can re-program the stock NSR cards to HRC or 030 spec? Plus:
• HRC spec card is “full race ignition”?
• 030 card is best setup “road ignition”
• What is best for fast road use HRC or 030 spec?
• Both HRC and 030 cards require the splice to give best results?
• What is the general cost for the service?
• How long does it take?
• Can I buy additional cards?
• To have the card reprogrammed I need the serial number from under the head unit? Mail both to Japan and wait, or do I need to send the head unit?
• Does I really make that much difference or is the splice, airbox and pipes really all you need and its 1 BHP at a time for every $500 you spend after that…..?
Moriwaki-man is the guy who can sort cards out.
The 030 card is an HRC card (as is the 020, 010, 000 and several other specials).
The best setup for fast road is an MC21, no HRC card runs a speedo, neutral light or low oil warning light.
All HRC cards require either a wiresplice or the proper race loom to run at all.
Depends what your workshop charges per hour.
Depends how fast they work and how busy they are.
You can buy anything if you have the money but you cannot order new cards.
I believe he needs the PGM itself.
You need more than $500 per extra bhp with an mc28 and without the HRC card there is no point in doing any splice.
