Anybody using one of these on their NSR?.... there looks to be plenty of room to fit one and its got to be better than sticking numbers on the clock....... I'm thinking of buying one...
I don't recall Steve's on the MC18 ever being juddery.
Make sure the cable's seated and routed correctly, and also free turning in the sleeve. There's obviously gearing inside the converter, but I don't expect there to be too much, if any slack/play in it, so the drive should be smooth. _________________ Andy.

Have a look at the speedo sprocket drive. Its a white plastic socket that drives the speedo unit. They often wear and give odd speedo readings. _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
On some of the vfrs they use a metal one which is harder wearing. I had to change my plastic one as the cable kept spinning inside it? _________________ it wouldn't be fun if it was easy!
