MC21 Coil and strange ground

Hi !!!

One of my 21's coils, have a strange ground connector ( seems to be "housemade" ). I dont know what the hell is it, any ideas ? RFI Suppression ?

I can't see any emi/rfi or whatever interference issues if you are using oem spark caps & plugs.

Just remove it but stay on the the safe side and keep away from Area 51. Laughing
