Well, I only ask about the 1201 because I still have half a tube left. Took me a bit of effort to find and was expensive. I was informed the 1201 was used for engine cases.

I'll take a good look at the seals and decide.

If the main bearing is "rumbling" then its no good. Once its all washed out try lubing it with some very light oil and feeling it again. They always feel alittle rough if they are second hand and washed out. With 2 stroke mix washed into them they should feel perfectly smooth.

You can also try pulling the outer race side to side. A new bearing has almost no sideways movement.

Yep, after the fuel dried out leaving an oily residue it seemed very smooth.

...still a bit of 'rumble' though with fuel/oil mix. They spin freely, however.
