RS250 brakes

Mon Dec 19, 2011 7:20 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

I was wondering if the calipers from an NX5 will transfer onto the NXA forks? Also does anyone have a rough idea how much one fork weighs.

I have bought NX5 disks and calipers so far for a front end conversion on my NSR and have an option of NXA forks and was just wondering if things will get mixed up? I know if i get the NXA forks i will need the Triples from the same model. While i am on the topic is there an online source for a parts manual for the NX5 and NXA front end?

All help is much appreciated.

Cheers, Andy.

The NX5 and NXA RS250's both use the same calipers and basically the same 296mm diameter discs.
The RS HRC manual will tell you not to mix certain pads with certain discs.

Click on the link below to get the parts manuals for both the NX5 and NXA RS250.

http://www.tsrworldwide.com/

Click on 'Parts List' to find the relevant parts.

An NXA front end will look very trick on your NSR!
