Slowly getting there, bike has Ohlins kitted R6 front end, Ohlins shock, Tyga's best fairings. These have been painted to the official Movistar blue colour code, awaiting the application of the full Movistar sticker kit. I am off to a trackday tomorrow to see how it feels. I will do some plug chops to see the correlation between EGT temps and plug colour.
I have ridden it on the road twice and it is quite a different bike to ride now...
looking good, lots of hot nsrs popping up in nz nowdays
R6 fron end seems to be the choice and the front wheel doesnt look out of place
Now, only if the seller of the whiote race mc21 on trade me will return my emails
R6 front end was not a lot of drama at all, I even got away with using the R6 stem and NSR bearings. This is off a 2010 R6, which has less offset than earlier models and the NSR. Front wheel to fairing clearance could be an issue, but it is okay for now.
I rode it on the track today. The wider front tyre is not an issue. I went for a Power Pure V variant, which has a more pointed profile. After summer I will get the wheel powercoated black to match the rear.
I now have a problem with charging - it isnt - so I only got one session and then resorted to the SP1 thereafter
only 6 months andy and the r6 ends go in pretty straight forward,it just takes me a while to do stuff _________________ ive seen more tarts than mr kipling
