Threebond 1207B hasn't failed me yet and is excellent for modern crankcases.
Threebond 1104 is a cheaper alternative and does good work when joint surfaces are worn or uneven but I believe is now discontinued due to lead content? _________________ 2t-racelab.com
1207B is the stuff Honda spec, it's not cheap but the amount you use is so small I fail to see a reason to use anything else. _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
I used ThreeBond 1211 on both my car cylinder head and the NSR crankcase. I've got to do more driving and riding before I'll make a recommendation, however. _________________ MC21 Honda NSR250. TYGA 300 conversion.
