Exhaust valve cables

Fri Apr 13, 2012 1:33 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

I've been meaning to replace the RC valve cables for a while now, and seeing as the bike is in pieces again, thought it'd be a good time!

Unfortunately, it seems as if they've been discontinued for the mc16 and mc18.

Any suggestions on where to get some? Or am I better off making some?

Cheers
Paul

Are they different to the MC21 cables...which are still available.

If not then Venhill seem to be doing a good trade in 'make them yourself' cables or will make up to order.

I shortened mine (to run the RC motor where it is on a road bike with the RS mech) with some little grub screw brake cable nipples intended I presume for a push bike, it's been fine for a long time so unless someone will made the real cheap you'd be able to do them yourself for less
